2013 – 2016
Director of Specialty Programming, WICB Radio 91.7fm
It all started 'Jazz Impressions' daily radio show for 1# award-winning college radio station 92 WICB. Shortly after becoming the leading DJ for the station, I was promoted to Executive Director of Specialty Programming on 91.7 fm. As Specialty Director, I was responsible for all on-air specialty show content, production, music and programming. This included training and managing a specialized team of on-air talent while configuring radio broadcasting server automation software.

Above all else, I never stopped taking on-air DJ shifts. Managing your own team means working along side them at every turn. We were consistently improving to become the best DJs on the station and teaching techniques to every new hire. We worked hard to earn #1 and always trained to keep it that way.
At WICB, I managed a small team and developed a masterful skill of team communication, grammatical voice control and a personality fop radio broadcasting. I am DJ Old Fashioned. |
In late 2016, I moved to Austin, Texas with no leads and no contacts. I knew I could rely what I learned at WICB and begin a new journey. After 2 months, I received word that co-founder of a small production company had taken hiatus. This was my opportunity.

Bizarre Magic Inc. is home to Scam Stuff, The Modern Rogue, Scam School, Hacking The System and Night Attack under founder and CEO Brian Brushwood. We featured all aspects of entertainment from stage magic, fire eating and comedy sketches to pyrotechnics, DIY badassery and social engineering. As a small company of 6, We worked tirelessly 24/7 to make corporate level efficiency into dedicated art form.

Scam Stuff was our online retail store featuring products from every avenue of Bizarre Magic productions. We sold everything in professional stage magic, bar tricks, fire eating, loaded dice, throwing cards, illusions and 'Gear for the Modern Rogue'. Our motto was: "If it's designed to get you ahead in life, you'll find it here."
Working closely with our CEO, I learned to operate every facet of the small business environment. Customer service, brand management, R&D, web design, purchasing decisions via financial data analysis and inventory logistics (ShipStation, Shopify). Internal IT support with Mac, Windows & Linux systems, Cloud-based clients (Google Drive), HTML5 web customization and streaming platforms (YouTube, Twitch). Within 2 months of working at Bizarre Magic, I was suddenly head of the entire retail branch. |

Licensed Intoxicologist - Easy Tiger Bakeshop
After working with Bizarre Magic, I began service industry at Easy Tiger. After earning a certification as a licensed Mixologist from the Austin School of Bartenders, I quickly progressed from Door to Barback to Bartender. I thrived in a fast-paced and high stress environment producing high-quality service with personalized dedication. Social psychology, time management and team cooperation all became paramount to deliver the best experience possible, beyond a perfectly crafted cocktail. Passion for the work brings perfection to the product.
During my time at Easy Tiger, I found an obsession with IT. Growing up with computers, I spent every moment of free time I had, reading, learning, building knowledge of the inner workings the PC. I built and maintained a PC from scratch, frequently installing multiple OS environments. Building a home server, interconnecting networked PCs in Windows, Mac and Linux was my idea of fun. I promptly passed the CompTIA A+ 901 exam.
During the day, I was a console cowboy. At night I was a craft socialite bartender.
